MHS Family Education Network (FEN)

The MHS Family Education Network (FEN) is a partnership between MHS and the Indiana Minority Health Coalition (IMHC) and the organization’s 25 local minority health coalitions serving 29 counties across the State of Indiana. The FEN works to provide free specialized education to Hoosier Healthwise (HHW) and Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) members on a variety of topics, such as an explanation of health plan benefits and coverage, as well as an overview of MHS programs and special services.

The FEN is now available for in-person training in the following five Indiana counties:

  • Marion
  • Lake
  • Elkhart
  • Vanderburgh
  • St. Joseph

Don't live in one of these counties? Don't worry! The FEN will continue to grow, and additional counties will be added for in-person encounters as the program develops. In the meantime, you can schedule a FEN training and receive all the same free services over the phone.

Call MHS Member Services for your free referral at (877) 647-4848.
