Our Policy and Engagement division works to ensure that minority voices are represented in decisions that shape health care across the state.

Our Mission in Policy Advocacy
IMHC’s public policy work is rooted in the belief that systemic change is essential to building healthier, more equitable communities. We work to:

Advocate for inclusive health policies at the local, state, and federal levels

Educate lawmakers and stakeholders about the health challenges facing minority populations

Promote community-informed solutions that reflect the voices of those most affected
